At the Dimsdale roundabout (where the B5369 meets the A34) 2·5 km north of Newcastle-under-Lyme, turn West along Wolstanton Road following signs to Apedale Country Park. At the next roundabout, take the second exit into Loomer Road and follow the road into the Country Park. Park in the car park on the right just before the Heritage Centre.

No dogs on the long courses, or at registration and download; dogs allowed under close control on the short and medium courses, and in the car park.

From the A520 Leek to Stone road, at the Britannia Building Society roundabout (1 km from the centre of Leek), follow orienteering signs onto the building society car park.

Use the National Trust car park in Wash Dale Lane. Turn East off the A34 300 m South of Darlaston Roundabout (A51). Turn right after 500 m, then left over the railway after the canal. After a further 1 km turn left into the car park (200 m after the ford).

Evening event – register between 5.00 p.m. and 7 p.m.

From the A34, take the A5027 to Stone. Turn left onto the one-way system. At the War Memorial, go straight ahead on the A520. Over the railway bridge, turn left in front of Langtrey’s pub, then immediately right. 500 m beyond Oulton village, as the road starts to dip and bear left, turn into the camp entrance on the right. Follow the one-way system into the car park.

Evening event – register between 5.00 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Take the A50 from Burslem to Tunstall and turn right at traffic lights into the Boulevard (A527). Where this swings left into Victoria Park Road, go straight across into Queens Park Avenue between Tunstall Park and the Sacred Heart RC Church. Turn left into a concealed drive immediately before a Methodist Church. (about 20 + 6 disabled parking spaces). Additional parking with care along the South side of Queens Avenue and other park perimeter roads.

An alternative approach is from the B5049 Hanley to Biddulph Road. 350m after the Haywood Hospital, turn left immediately after a Co-op into Greenbank Road. This descends steeply to Queens Park Avenue.

Evening event – register between 5.00 p.m. and 7 p.m.

From the A500/A53 intersection at Etruria, follow the A53 northwards towards Hanley. At the next roundabout (under the flyover) take the first exit into Festival Park; at the next roundabout take the third exit. Park on the Morrison's Supermarket car park at the end of this road. The event assembly area is near the left hand corner of the car park, beyond the petrol station.

Evening event – register between 5.00 p.m. and 7 p.m.

From the A5035, 1 km south of the A50 at Longton and 4 km north of the A34 at Trentham, turn into Queens Park Avenue (between Longton Park and the War Memorial). Park compactly in Cocknage Road (the continuation of the Avenue). Enter the park by the south east gates (opposite Chaplin Road).

Evening event – register between 5.00 p.m. and 7 p.m.

From Town Road in Hanley take the B5049 (Chell Street) towards Smallthorne. After about 800m turn left into the car park.

This is a mass start score event: all competitors will start at 11:00. Register between 10:00 and 10:45.

After the event there will be a barbecue for competitors and club members. Bring your own food and drink, and tableware.

Signposted from the B5040 Hanley to Weston Coyney road on Park Hall Road.

Coming from Weston Coyney (left off the A520) turn right into Hulme Road after 1·0 km.

Coming from Hanley follow the signs towards Weston Coyney from the A52 and 0·6 km after passing the gasholder beside the mini-roundabout, turn left. After 0·6 km turn right off this minor road into the car park.

Park at the Country Park car park. Turn off the A527 Tunstall-Congleton road 1·5km from the North end of the Biddulph bypass, into Grange Road (turn right if approaching from the South, left if from the North) following the signpost to the Country Park. After 350m turn right; do not turn into the adjacent National Trust Gardens area which will be passed before the Country Park.

Turn North off the A53 Cobridge(Hanley)-Leek road at Holden Viaduct onto the B5049. Follow local signs to Smallthorn, turning right after 0·8km at Smallthorne Roundabouts, onto the B5051 towards Norton; look for the brown tourist sign for Ford Green Hall. Turn left after 1·0km to the car park (immediately after the Hall).

From the traffic lights at the junction of the A523{}CH_nbsp{}(Macclesfield Road) and the A53 (Buxton Road) take the minor road towards Brough Park Leisure Centre. After 200m turn left into the pay-and-display car park.
